Can I designate someone else to pay my account?
Yes.
You may designate a ‘Payer’ whose access is limited to login and account payments. The Payer Only role allows subscribers to designate someone to access CourtNet 2.0 for bill paying purposes only, and because that person will not be viewing cases, the Payer only role will not be charged the recurring monthly $10 sub account fee.
Go to the Profile page. Under Sub Accounts, click on the Username hyperlink of the account you would like to convert to Payer Only. This will take you to the Sub Account Information page for a single account. To designate this account for Payer Only, Check Active? and Account Payer? and uncheck Performs Searches?.

Does the person paying my account have to be a registered user?
Yes.
The account payer must be registered. This person must also be listed as Active and Account Payer. If you do not want to be charged a fee for this person, you must uncheck Perform Serarches?.

Can I set up recurring payments via credit card?
No.
Payments are made monthly via the online payment feature in CourtNet 2.0. There is no recurring payment program.

Can I receive short-term access to CourtNet?
Yes.
For those requiring short-term access, a thirty-day subscription may be an option. Sign in and select a service plan. Remember to cancel their plan on the last day of the month to avoid charges for the next month.
Note: You will be invoiced for any outstanding account balance (i.e., images and overages).

What are the acceptable methods of payment?

How do I cancel a plan?
- Click <Profile> on ‘title bar’.
- Click <Change My Plan>.
- Click <Cancel My Plan>.
- Click <SaveChanges>.
- Notes will be added to the account regarding cancellations and attempted logins for administrative tracking purposes.
- Outstanding balances are billed for three (3) subsequent billing periods.
- Blocked logins indicate account flagged ('Approved?' = false) as deactivated.

How do I choose a plan?
- Click <Profile> on ‘title bar’.
- Click <Change My Plan> to select a new service plan.
- Click <Save Changes> to complete the transaction.
Helpful Hint: Plan changes go into effect at the beginning of the next billing period.

What are the plans and which plan is right for me?
Five different plans are available to subscribers. The plans are based on a cell phone plan model; each plan provides access to a set number of unique cases for a billing period at a flat monthly rate.

How do I add a Sub Account?
To create a Sub Account:
Repeat steps 4-6 to add more Sub Accounts.
- Browse to https://kcoj.kycourts.net/CourtNet/.
- Select <User Profile>.
- Select <Account Profile>
- Select <Manage Users>
- Scroll to sub accounts.
- Click <Add a Sub Account>
- Complete profile details including email, name (first and last), job title, and location; check applicable boxes.
- Click <Send Invitation>.
Repeat steps 4-6 to add more Sub Accounts.

Where can I find case-specific data?
Click <Case Number> (next to county name in search results pane).
This will open the case for more detailed information and views for party, charges, case documents, and/or next scheduled events.

Will I need to change my password in CourtNet 2.0?
No.
Access to CourtNet 2.0 is authenticated through your agency.
To reset password within CourtNet 2.0 as an Administrator:
